During inclement weather, check local radio and TV for class cancellation.
Notice about attendance and grade inflation:
Class sessions begin as noted in your student guide. Please be prompt. Should an unexpected emergency arise and you find it necessary to miss all or part of a class session, contact me as soon as possible. Regular assignments are expected to be submitted on the date they are due even if the student misses class. This can be done by Email to the address below.
A University degree has value. It would be an injustice to the University's students, alumni and staff to devalue the reputation of an University education by inflating students' grades. Students enrolling in this program accept a burden of professional responsibility. Written assignments are due the class as scheduled. Scores for late assignments will be reduced. I cannot give credit for work not done (no matter how good the excuse). You can expect to receive an A in this course if you: attend all classes, arrive on time, observe, listen, respond and demonstrate a superior understanding of the course through completion of all assignments.
Course objectives and required text may be found in the Student Guide provided by the University.

How do I cite a personal interview or conversation in my APA paper?
Personal Communication: For interviews, letters, e-mails, and other person-to-person communication, cite the communicators name, the fact that it was personal communication, and the date of the communication. Do not include personal communication in the reference list.
(E. Robbins, personal communication, January 4, 2001).
A. P. Smith also claimed that many of her students had difficulties with APA style (personal communication, November 3, 2002).
